Economic Development
The Eagle Bend Area Development Corporation (EBADC) was formed to oversee the tools set forth by the Eagle Bend City to enhance growth and development in Eagle Bend.
This group of volunteers has been the driving force in the planning and development of the Eagle Bend Library and Museum and Nelson Park by working with other area volunteer groups.
There are many festivals and events within the community with aide of many volunteers and other organizations.
The City of Eagle Bend Currently has in place a Comprehensive Plan adopted by the City Council.
In July 2003 Eagle Bend became the 28th City in the State to become E-Commerce Certified.
The Eagle Bend Area Development Corporation and the City have available for local businesses a Revolving Loan Fund.
Eagle Bend is currently involved with the JOBZ Program which was designed to help revitalize the local economy, by offering tax exemptions for businesses who become part of this program.
